Today on Twitter, there is this muppet fidgeting around in a video
and I'm thinking "Man, he looks nuts, what kind of guy is that?".
It is the Canadian Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra and he says that in Canada the "medical segregation" is maintained for flights & train rides although otherwise most Corolla restrictions end.
Trudeau's minister of transport states that the Liberal policy of medical segregation for planes and trains will remain in place for the time being, despite most restrictions in Canada ending.

"Alghabra was born in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia to a Syrian family. His father, an architect, moved their family to Saudi Arabia in 1968. Alghabra has stated that he remembers living a sheltered life there, attending private school and visiting Syria in the summer. Alghabra completed his high school education at the Dhahran Ahliyya School in Alkhobar. He then moved to Damascus, Syria where he started his Engineering degree at Damascus University. He decided to complete his education in Canada...
Afterwards, he joined General Electric (GE) as a Six Sigma Black Belt in the Industrial Service Business. He became the Global Business Leader for GE’s Industrial Refurbished Parts business."
What the hell is a "Six Sigma Black Belt". Is that someone who has mastered the five-point-palm exploding heart technique? (Kill Bill)
Mhmm, not really... at least it's apparently not a hiring requirement for the job.
"The Six Sigma Black Belt...
is a project manager and leads teams in the implementation of the Six Sigma method, especially in difficult topics
takes on complex and cross-departmental..." and so on.
"What requirements should a Six Sigma Black Belt have?
What knowledge and skills are advantageous to lead complex Six Sigma projects?
The Six Sigma Black Belt...
has completed training to become a certified Six Sigma Black Belt." (German Society for Quality)
Ah, I see - the prerequisite for becoming a Six Sigma black belt is to be a Six Sigma black belt.
To me it sounds like a Six Sigma Black Belt is nothing more than a carpet vendor or insurance salesman, except that instead of carpets or insurance, he's just selling hot air.
And such a person moves from Saudi Arabia to Canada, weasels his way into politics & up to minister and then gets on the Canadians' nerves with senseless travel bans.
By the way, his predecessor as Minister of Transport was Navdeep Singh Bains.
"He received his Certified Management Accountant designation, subsequently becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2014. In 2016, he was awarded the prestigious FCPA designation by CPA Ontario for his "outstanding achievements including community leadership".
Bains worked as a financial processing analyst at Nike Canada from 2000 to 2001.[9] He also worked for the Ford Motor Company as a revenue and costing analyst from 2000 until 2004."
Another one of those carpetbaggers.
These people all exist in a bubble parallel world that does or produces absolutely nothing useful & if this whole management/political/stock market bunch would just disappear from this planet then this world would certainly be a much better place.
