Hey Mr. Taliban

"Hey Mr. Taliban, tally me banana
A beautiful bunch of ripe banana
(Daylight come and we want go home)

Hide the deadly black tarantula

(Daylight come and we want go home)
"
(The Banana Boat Song)

Bwa ha ha, so this is what it looks like when the "Time Bandits", dressed in nightgowns & armed with some obscure, worn out assault rifles within a few days flatten everything that several highly equipped occupation armies have supposedly built up in several years.

""NATO concept has failed" Why the Taliban are so fast" (ntv).
"Kunduz, Kandahar and soon probably Kabul - in Afghanistan, major cities are falling one by one into the hands of the Taliban. Often there is no long fighting because the Afghan soldiers offer little resistance to the advancing fighters....

Even before the latest conquests, a senior EU official had said 65 percent of the country was under Taliban control.
"The government cannot offer any resistance, the troops usually give up without a fight"....

Yet the Afghan army has more than 300,000 soldiers and police, as well as tens of thousands more fighters organized into militias, while the Taliban is said to have only about 30,000 troops. "Numbers are not everything," Ruttig says. "You can see now that NATO's training concept has failed.""

Well, now the Taliban have a lot of modern equipment and a lot of well-trained volunteers.
Congratulations.
"Now i've got a machine gun ho ho ho"

Hasn't it all happened before, with the Russians? I kind of feel like...

And is there actually any degree of total failure & absolute ridiculousness that the "western democracies" have let out in the last decades?
Is that actually still incompetence or already intent?

Meanwhile, on "public service" state radio:
"60 Years of Building the Wall "Testimony to Hopeless Failure"" (tagesschau.de)
"German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has described the construction of the Berlin Wall 60 years ago as "testimony to a hopeless failure.""

Very vell, Lord Fuckface - that "wall" lasted a few decades after all & essentially served its purpose.
If that was a hopeless failure, then what exactly was the Afghanistan mission.

And which side actually "won" with the "fall of the wall" will only be proven by the retrospect from the future, possibly.
Probably no one will be interested in that anymore anyway.
